VENO NEWS:OPINION: THE HIGH-PROFILE WEDDING IN VENICE, ITALY By Sunday Ade Ojo

Before going into the main subject, it is imperative/important to report the breaking/tragic news of the passing of Liverpool FC and Portugal forward, DIOGO JOTA, who reportedly died suddenly/tragically in a car accident (bizarre accident) alongside his brother in Spain, aged 28. Quite shocking/unbelievable! He was a decent and fine football player. From marriage to death... Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends/teammates, Liverpool FC and the entire football community. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace!
Now to the main topic: The high-profile or lavish wedding of American Tech Billionaire and Amazon/Blue Origin founder, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, a former journalist, author and helicopter pilot, in the iconic City of Venice in Italy last week. From America to Italy with love!
Marriage is the union between a MAN and a WOMAN. Not even God can change the status let alone any human. Some sick and deluded people are trying to change the definition of the sacred institution - marriage, in the sick name of human rights. Disgusting thing!
The expensive marriage in Venice, costing a whooping 56 million dollars or more was the talk of the world, trending like crazy on social media and it is worth writing about, hence the piece here. Everyone has the right to spend their hard-earned money the way they want. The protesters protesting against the extra-ordinary cost of the 3-day wedding in the expensive city have the right too. Generally, humans view issues from different angles of elevation/depression. But, it is advisable for everybody to be prudent in spending.
From Thursday (wed next day), the day after Wednesday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28, the beautiful city of Venice was agog with 200 invited guests, wealthy and powerful people mainly from America, among whom was one of the daughters of the deity ruling the country.
Jeff Bezos, 61, is a philanthropist and used to be the world's richest man before being overtaken by Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. According to Forbes, his net worth is almost 240 billion dollars. To him, the cost of the marriage is chicken change and what is important is satisfaction/happiness. Happiness is free! Money brings happiness but can not buy it and good tastes as well.
Why have things fallen apart so suddenly between Elon Musk, the now wealthiest guy on planet Earth and his former boss, the orange man? There is no love lost between them. Life is indeed unpredictable! Both are sworn enemies right now and the one who should be deported is considering deporting the other to South Africa, his ancestral home. Good riddance! They should suicide-bomb each other in that they are evil and dangerous to the world.
Oh, sorry about the out of topic again. It is also relevant and shows how things can happen quickly in life. Some schools of thoughts believe the lavishly lavish wedding of Jeff and Lauren (55) was not based on LOVE but MONEY on the part of the latter and the former's huge fortunes shall be shared evenly with divorce on the table and may happen in no time. Both of them are adults and once married. There is no love in this sinful world where marriages/relationships do no usually last.
After marriage is procreation. No one expects that from one of the newest couples in the world. Whatever, the expensive wedding had come and gone. The newlyweds are on deserved honeymoon. Marriage is for better, for worse. There is a song that: You are married today, tomorrow no more.. You are married today o, you are married forever...
