VENO NEWS: Ekiti Guber Race: Gov.Oyebanji Submits Nomination Form, Mobilizes For Re-Election Bid

Yesterday, I formally submitted my Nomination Form for the 2026 Ekiti Governorship Election at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

It was heartwarming to be accompanied by a broad coalition of leaders and stakeholders, including former Governor Niyi Adebayo, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, current and former National Assembly members, former deputy governors, labour leaders, opposition leaders, students, youth and women groups, as well as members of our great party across the state.

Of particular note was the presence of the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2022 election, my dear brother, Hon Bisi Kolawole, who led members of the Osoko Political Family to the event.

The APC in Ekiti remains a cohesive family, and I remain committed to our values of internal democracy. I deeply appreciate the relentless support of our leaders, especially all the former governors of the state - H.E. Otunba Niyi Adebayo, H.E Dr Kayode Fayemi, H.E. Ayodele Fayose and H.E. Engr Segun Oni as well as the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and all elders of our dear party.

The massive show of support reflects the unity of purpose among Ekiti people and their desire for continuity, stability, and sustained development.

I am grateful to all who stood with me yesterday. With your continued prayers, support, and the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we will build on our achievements and move Ekiti to greater heights.
