His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Atanda Oladipupo (JP), Ayerounwi I, The Olu of Ifo, has joined his ancestors. The highly revered monarch answered the divine call on Wednesday, the 8th day of October, 2025, after a life exceptionally well-lived, dedicated to the service of his people and the preservation of our rich cultural heritage.
Oba Samuel Atanda Oladipupo was a quintessential traditional ruler, a beacon of peace, and a pillar of unity. Throughout his illustrious reign, he provided wise and courageous leadership, steering the ship of Ifo Kingdom with unwavering dedication, foresight, and a deep love for his subjects. His reign witnessed unprecedented progress, development, and harmony within our community. As a Justice of the Peace, he was a renowned arbiter of justice and a symbol of integrity.
