VENO tv Politics Controversy Trails APC E-Registration as Reps Member, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, Storms Party Secretariat over Alleged Exclusion By Kayode Adoide
Date: 24-01-26

Fresh controversy has erupted over the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic registration exercise in Zamfara State, following protests by a serving member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, over his alleged exclusion from the party register.
Hon. Jaji, who represents Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives, reportedly stormed the APC secretariat to protest what he described as an unjust and deliberate attempt to sideline him from the party’s membership database.
Speaking during an interview, the lawmaker—who is also a businessman and philanthropist—described the development as uncalled for and provocative, warning that continued marginalisation could escalate into what he termed “a fight to the finish.”
“Politics is not about me alone; it is about my people. I remain loyal to my constituents and their interests,” Hon. Jaji stated.
He further expressed concern that internal actions capable of alienating loyal party members could weaken the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, if not urgently addressed.
The federal lawmaker therefore called on the National Chairman of the APC and the party’s national leadership to immediately investigate and resolve the issue, warning that failure to do so could deepen internal divisions and threaten party unity in Zamfara State.
As of the time of filing this report, the APC leadership in the state had yet to issue an official response to the allegation.
