Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that any military attack by the United States on Iran could spark a regional war across the Middle East.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a strong warning saying that a U.S. strike on Iran would lead not just to a bilateral conflict but to wider regional war involving multiple countries.
This warning came as tensions rise over the U.S. response to Iran’s nuclear program and the violent domestic crackdown on protests inside Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump responded by saying he hoped a nuclear deal with Iran can be reached to avoid military conflict, adding “we’ll find out whether he was right” if talks fail.
Middle Eastern and regional allies, including Turkey and Qatar, are pushing for negotiations and diplomatic solutions to prevent conflict.
Officials are discussing nuclear talks that could avert escalation — but no agreement has been finalized yet.
The warning signals how fragile U.S.–Iran relations have become amid nuclear tensions and geopolitical rivalries.
A military clash between Iran and the United States wouldn’t just affect the two countries — it could trigger instability across the Middle East, involving Israel, Gulf states, and major global powers.
