VENO TV: PDP Will Resurrect in 2031 — Bishop Dr. Sanya Ojo SOMH Declares Date: 09-03-26
Bishop Dr. Sanya Ojo SOMH has predicted that Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may stage a political comeback by 2031, despite its present internal crisis and weakening influence.
According to the respected cleric and publisher of VENO International Magazine, the current struggles within the party are part of a political cycle that often precedes renewal.
“The PDP may appear weak today, but political history shows that parties can rebuild and return stronger. The resurrection of the PDP may come around 2031,” he declared.
The party, which governed Nigeria for 16 years between 1999 and 2015, has been battling internal divisions, defections, and leadership disputes since losing power to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015.
Observers note that internal conflicts, court cases, and factional battles have recently shaken the party’s leadership structure, raising questions about its future ahead of the 2027 elections.
However, Bishop Ojo believes that time, reconciliation, and new leadership may reposition the party, making a comeback possible in the next political cycle.
“In politics, no party dies forever. Nations change, alliances change, and the people decide when a political movement will rise again,” he added.
The statement has sparked discussions among political watchers about the future of opposition politics in Nigeria.
