VENO NEWS: REVEALED! How Civil Defence Commander In Edo Allegedly Short Changed Officers' Payment

Information reaching our news desk has revealed how one of the State Commanders of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Edem George, in Edo State, Nigeria allegedly short Changed payments to Officers on special duties.

According to the information at our disposal
the officers and men attached to the house of the Chief judge of Edo state, were paid by the State government #30000 each for the period of three months in bulk to the State command account for their monthly allowance. He allegedly paid the officers #60000 and the men #40000against #90000 supposedly.

The 68 officers and men of the corps (NSCDC) in Wabaizigan, the state government special security architecture, were paid #30000 each and the three heads #60000 each for the period of four months in bulk, which is Nov. Dec. 2020 and, Jan. Feb 2021 to the state command account by the state government for their monthly allowance. The tyrant commandant, allegedly paid some #108000, #81000 even #27000 against #120000 and #240000 respectively.

The affected officers includes those guiding the executives in the state and also those on special duty drafted to the state created security outfit


We gathered from an aggrieved affected officers names witheld who confirmed to us said, ' it is disheartening for Commander to be doing this type of illicit activities because it encourage officers to be alive to responsibilities because the morale will not be boosted he submitted.

In a swift reaction to the allegations, Edo State PRO, Mr.Edosa emphatically revealed in a message unedited to this reporter, saying the allegation is baseless and faceless,I wonder why someone will wake up and Imagine he or she can just say anything Just to tarnish the image of another person,if one most come to equity he should come with clean hands,imagine no name in the report ,I want to use this medium to advice journalists,not every story u publish,try to verify, investigate properly,so u don't mislead the General public.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filling this report, the Command has set up a preliminary investigation to unravel those behind the information. Fingers crossed as investigation continues
