VENO tv: Exit of An Icon Night of Tribute in Memory of Late Barinada Mpigi

The atmosphere was charged with emotion as Rivers State witnessed an unprecedented turnout to celebrate a life of impact, service, and legacy.
A Life of Service and Influence
Late Barinada Mpigi (1961 – February 19, 2026) was a distinguished Nigerian politician who represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly. Until his passing, he served as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, playing a key role in overseeing federal road infrastructure across Nigeria.
News of his death in a London hospital after a brief illness sent shockwaves across the nation, plunging the National Assembly into mourning.
