A prominent second-class traditional ruler in Ekiti State is facing serious allegations over his alleged relationships with several married women.
Information reaching VENO tv claims that the monarch, who is also said to be a pastor and an accountant, may have been involved in relationships that allegedly resulted in pregnancies involving a number of married women.
One of the women mentioned in the allegations is further claimed to have undergone several abortions connected with the traditional ruler.
VENO tv has not independently verified these allegations, and no finding of wrongdoing has been established against the monarch at the time of this report. Efforts should also be made to obtain his response and the accounts of other parties involved before publication of the full investigation.
The allegations, if substantiated, could raise serious moral and traditional concerns because of the dignity and responsibilities attached to the royal institution.
