VENO NEWS:A Look At Atiku Abubakar’s Companies And Achievements So Far!

Atiku Abubakar GCON is a Nigerian politician and businessman who served as the Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo.
He ran as Governor of Adamawa State in 1990, 1997, and later, in 1998, being elected before becoming Olusegun Obasanjo’s running mate during the 1999 presidential election and re-elected in 2003.

Atiku is the current PDP Candidate for the 2023 Presidential election, he has investments in media, shipping, education, and other sectors, and has employed about 50,000 people in his companies in Nigeria.

In 2017, Atiku Abubakar listed companies owned by him, and below are some information about his companies:

1. Intels

Intels Nigeria Limited provides integrated logistics services for the Nigerian oil and gas industry. It offers agency services; cargo services; port management and support services in shore bases; and manages client operations, including pipe racks, stacking areas, warehousing, enclosed areas, jetties, offices, water tanks, fuel storage, generators, compressors, and various other services and facilities.

2. Prodeco

Prodeco operates in Nigeria with two companies: Prodeco (Property Development Company) operating within the main territory of Nigeria and Prodeco International operating in Oil & Gas Free Zones. The first company was incorporated in March 1996 as a property development company. Over the years, PRODECO has engaged in building, marine, and infrastructural construction for various clients in the oil and gas industry.

3. Atiku Abubakar Farm

He also has a farm in Adamawa state. In 1981 he moved into agriculture, acquiring 2,500 hectares of land near Yola to start a maize and cotton farm. The business fell on hard times and closed in 1986. “My first foray into agriculture, in the 1980s, ended in failure,” he once said in 2014. However, since then his farm has expanded and blossomed.

4. ABTI Schools

The major part of this is the American University of Nigeria (AUN). It is located in the city of Yola, capital of Adamawa, one of Nigeria’s 36 states. The campus, which occupies nearly 1000 hectares, is a serene mixture of desert and farmland. Adamawa, one of the six states in northeast Nigeria, shares the longest borderline with Cameroon Republic.

Atiku led the Economic Management Team that paid off Nigeria’s debt.

He privatised the telecom and cement industries, which exploded our GDP and created jobs.

He brought technocrats into government.

Atiku Abubakar chaired the National Economic Council that brought GSM into Nigeria and which stabilised the Naira.

He pushed for the creation of the EFCC, and gave that corruption-fighting body their first grant, from his budget, because they were created in between budgets.

He led the Obasanjo administration’s efforts to restore peace, law, and order during the Sharia crisis of 2000.

In his private life, Atiku co-founded one of the largest oil and gas, and ports services firms in Africa in the 80s.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, through that company, and other companies in his Priam group of companies personally employs more people than many state governments.

Atiku Abubakar Chieftaincy Titles, Traditional Titles, Honours

Atiku Abubakar Turaki of Adamawa: Atiku Abubakar was given the chieftaincy title of the Turaki of Adamawa by his future father-in-law, Adamawa’s traditional ruler Alhaji Aliyu Mustafa in In 1982.

Atiku Abubakar Waziri of Adamawa: Atiku Abubakar was giving the chieftaincy title of the Waziri of Adamawa, and his previous title of Turaki was transferred to his son Aliyu in June 2017.

A.A Atiku Abubakar Initials, Names: A.A stands for Atiku Abubakar. Atiku said that any message on social media that did not come with the initials “A. A.” were not his.

“This evening I received information that a post was made that doesn’t agree with my orders. I use this to announce that any post without A. A. is not from me. May God protect us,” Atiku Abubakar wrote in Hausa language during the Deborah Samuel murder case in Sokoto in May 2022.
