Early this morning, the beat of a popular American musician woke me. Then I started meditating, Lekki massacre crawled in. What an unpleasant memory.
It wasn't funny that the youths were tired with the incessant maladministration that had embedded in every sphere of the country. They felt the whole country is no longer conducive for the people therein. Hardly we could differentiate from present Nigeria from the state of nature as it described by Thomas Hobbs and John Locke survival of the fittest
The police which one of their responsibilities is to protect the lives and properties of every citizens irrespective of the sociopolitical economy status of such had successfully deviated from this statutory responsibility. Instead, they became an instrument of oppression, extortion and victimization in the hands of the so call senior officers for the reason not far fetch from accumulation of wealth for themselves and their unborn children. What a sad story!
Many youths were being molested on streets. Some arrested and detained for no reason. And some even got killed by those who supposed to protect their lives and properties. What an irony of life!
When they could no longer bear the pain of being molested and all sorts of inhuman pain inflicted on them by the Negeria police, most especially The SARS, they marched out in thousands and the Buhari led administration trembled! Initially, they thought it was child play but we shocked them that we are not docile as the federal government thought, they are only law abiding citizens.
They attempted dialogue, but they failed. They applied divide and rule by luring some youths who didn't Know their right from left but base their survival on hooliganism for reaaon not far fetch from disruption of the peaceful protest, they also failed.
Soldiers were deployed to Lekki toll gate, the most peaceful of the protest locations where they were singing the National Anthem with the National Flags in their hands. What patriotic is more than this? But the soldiers came with live amunation and started shooting directly at those with the national flag, an integrity they sworn to defend. What a failed state!
Then I asked, who will be the next to fire? Rain of bullets started falling
I am very sure the soldiers acted on an instruction of those saddled with the responsibility of their deployment. But whoever gave them such instruction won't no peace.
Our leaders are vampires in the middle of the night Suckin on citizens' blood. Is that their appetite? Before condemning the protester's action, have you ever been molested by the police before? Have you been arrested and detained for no reason? If yes, you will know what it takes to be an alien in a country where you claimed to be a citizen. It is not funny that the present structure in Nigeria is to protect the interest of the ruling class while the ruled are hopeless.
Before the protest, we complained and screamed ,And no one heard us cry? During the last End SARS protest, the youths were ready for the worst. Only so they can live, after all, we are all living so that we can one day die for it is written that every man will live and die once.
but every man will be judged this is what i believe according to His word. Our leaders had held us against our will. They have taken to a dark place
Where nobody can reveal or explain what will happen next. Nothing is affordable in the country
We have given what is for Ceaser for the Ceaser, not because we are coward but because we don't want no peace. All wee want is equal rights and justice for everybody irrespective of the status
