VENO NEWS:THE MISEDUCATION OF KING WASIU AYINDE MASHALL.

KWAM 1 is the most educated Fuji musician. That is sacrosanct and not up for debate. He is also the most hated and most arrogant. That too is sacrosanct and not up for debate. He has put in a lot to educate himself and put his past behind him. His Achilles heel has always been to be reminded of those days when he was a struggling musician. One that would do anything to become famous. Now, Allah has answered his prayers. His way of saying Amen to Allah, is to scorn the basement. Look down on those he feels are below him in standard. Do not crucify me. I am not here to bury KWAM1. I am here to praise someone I regard as the greatest Fuji ambassador. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister that created the genre is the humblest human being you will ever meet in your life. He sang in most of his albums about the need to be humble and respect your neighbor. Regardless of their status in life. Barry Wonder practiced what he preached. He loved people. He was loved equally by everybody. The mention of his name still brings tears to the face of many. Mine especially. That is the humanity of him. The opposite can be said of KWAM1. He has become a pariah. The recent revelation by his former band captain. The allegation of abuse. The allegation of him dabbling into the occult and many others have not helped a man that God has blessed tremendously.
Of course, there are two sides to a story. Every story in fact. KWAM1 gave his own side in a packaged interview. His handlers did well to showcase his dexterity of the English language. His education so to speak. But my late grandmother was always quick to educate us: that there is a huge difference between being educated and being intelligent. KWAM1, should have never conducted that interview. The fact that he refused to address the major stain on his character by Mr Ayankunle Ayanlowo, who played the talking drum for him between 1990-2022, speaks the Bible. So, we can assume that what the drummer said about the maltreatments is nothing but the truth. As a former entertainment reporter. You are used to Fuji and Juju musicians being humble. They wear it as a cloth. It is an act; you get to know the more you become very close to them. One exception, KWAM1. He never even tries to put up the act. Unless you are Asiwaju Bola Tinubu or WHIZKID, he looks at you with disdain. KWAM1 has no qualms about letting you know that you are standing in the presence of a superstar. One that should be treated like a god. That is the miseducation of KWAM1.
I repeat for emphasis: thirteen years after the death of Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. He remains a beloved figure. Great stories are still been told about him. He loved to use his music to teach about life. And life after. KWAM1 has the musical talent to emulate the greatest Fuji musician. But he will not. It is not in him to let another human educate him. Especially, since he has gained the whole world.............But lost his soul.
