Nigeria, known for its vibrant religious landscape, is home to many respected men of God. I mean pastors, evangelists, apostles, bishops, Prophets Prophets and many other spiritual titles
But most of them have only made their mark in the spiritual realm but failed significantly when it comes to impacting life in society socio-political economically through philanthropic endeavours.
However, there are some that are still very active when it comes to giving back to society and helping the less privileged.
They have taken it as part of their responsibilities to use their platforms to address various social issues with the little they have, including poverty, education, healthcare, and community development.
Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of Synagogue of all Nation was respected for his prophetic strengths, not only that but was also renowned for his extensive philanthropic He did so many things in helping people and also touched lives as well aimed at addressing social and economic challenges in Nigeria.
Some initiatives focus on providing healthcare, education, and socio-economic development and have also been instrumental in offering relief to the less privileged through food distribution, healthcare services, and skills acquisition programs. Though he has gone to rest, his work speaks still.
Another man of God that I will also talk about is Prophet Sam Olu Alo, the founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain International Ministry He is the coordinator of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Babalola Memorial International camp at Ikeji Arakeji. He is a seasoned man of God that the Lord had taken humanity as his priorities through his platform he had lifted and assisted numerous people to achieve their glorious destinies.. He has done so well for people by assisting them through giving scholarships, assisting them in medical, financially, and distribution of food stuff and materials to the less privileged.
Prophet F.E Bamiduro is another Nigerian religious leader and the founder of Thy word is life Christian Outreach, Area1 Estate, Adura bus stop Alagbado Lagos, He is an ikare Akoko born clergy man with an humble beginnings. He is widely respected for his dedication to serving the less privileged and for his advocacy of social justice. He has gained a reputation for its focus on empowering the underprivileged and providing support to those in need, such widows, widowers, and the old people
Primate Ayodele of INRI Evangelical spiritual Church had initiated numerous charitable programs, including empowerment, the provision of food, shelter, and medical care to the less privileged in Nigerian society These efforts have been extended to various communities, reaching out to orphanages, prisons, and other marginalized groups.
He had on different occasions involved in humanitarian initiatives, including disaster relief efforts and educational programs. His commitment to addressing the practical needs of individuals and communities has earned him respect and admiration from people within and outside Nigeria.
Prophet Sanya Ojo popularly known as Anjonu Eledumare is another religious leader that had made up his mind to assist the less privileged with the little he has just to provide succour most especially in this present economic situation of the country. A renowned journalist turned prophet is a born philanthropist. He has helped numerous people before and after he received the calling. He is the initiator of Breakfast With Veno, which takes place once every month. The purpose of this is to counsel, empower, give, and feed people for a day.
This has contributed to improving the well-being of individuals in that neighbourhood which also extends beyond meeting immediate needs, as he has also been involved in initiatives aimed at empowering individuals to become self-sufficient and economically independent Through different counselling and spiritual advises.
Pastor Ademola Amusan, popularly known as Agbala Gabriel, is another well-known pastor when it comes to humanity. He has generated funds for different people, including widows, widowers, young and old, which include some of our Nollywood actors and actresses. Suebebe, iya Gbonkan, Pariolodo, iya ibeji omo arayele etc...
His unwavering dedication to uplifting the less privileged, promoting education, improving healthcare access, and fostering economic empowerment has earned him widespread admiration and respect. Through his philanthropic endeavours, he has demonstrated a deep sense of compassion and a steadfast commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of others.
Let’s other pastors learn from their colleagues and also emulate their kind gesture towards humanity .
