Snr. High Chief (Barr.) Oyebanji Abuloye the Ejemu of Igbara-Oke Kingdom, one of the notable and vibrant traditional chiefs of the town who was earlier this month appointed by Ondo State Governor, H. E, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa as one of his aides, towards the end of last week, received his appointment letter from the office of Permanent Secretary, Political and Economic Affairs Department.
In his press statement issue through our medium, he firstly thanked the Almighty God for his grace, infinite mercy and gift of life to witness and experience this time and moment. He therefore expressed profund gratitude to His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State for the appointment as same is clearly a mark of recognition of his participation and commitment to partisan politics in bid for his people to access without restraint the dividends of democracy and he pledge his unalloyed support for Mr. Governor in his efforts to emerge victorious in the next governorship election in the state.
S.H.C Ejemu equally expressed his deep and sincere appreciation to Hon. (Barr.) Tope Komolafe, Member Representing Ifedore Constituency, in Ondo State House of Assembly for his support and understanding in his political voyage, and prayed for a robust relationship to enhance the growth of their party and engender more and better benefit for their constituency in months to come.
He also thanked immensely, the party Leaders and Excos of APC in Ifedore Local Government Area by using Col. Olubodun Apara (Rtd.) as the point of contact to all of them, he sued for unity, love and peace in the party, as these are the bedrock of development and success in all fronts for the party at any given time.
He noted that his appreciation will definitely be inadequate, if he failed to appreciate his royal father, HIM, Alayeluwa, Oba (Dr.) Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede OFR, Ogidi lll, Ilufemiloye I, Olowa of Igbara-Oke (The Paramount Ruer & Proscribed Authority of Igbara-Oke Kingdom and also the Director - General of National Council of Traditional Rulers South-West) for his support, understanding and fatherly advice time to time.
He equally appreciated all the traditional chiefs of Igbara-Oke Kingdom, using Snr. High Chief Akin Aluko, the Sapetu of Igbara-Oke as the point of contact to all others for their support, understanding and trust they reposed in him. While thanking Olowa and the Traditional Chiefs of Igbara-Oke he stated "This appointment, regardless of its stature is first of its kind in a way.." He stressed "If my memory will not fail me, in the first generation of SSCE that I belong, that's those who left Secondary Schools in Igbara-Oke between 1990 and 1995, none has been privileged to be so appointed at the state level..."
In view of the forgoing, he therefore stated that he is more or less the ambassador of the generation in that clime. He humbly pleaded for the support of the generation and the entire Igbara-Oke for effective and efficient discharge of his duty and he is poised not to let them down.
In his words he said " I grinned when I discovered that my people had rebranded the appointment to read ' SA Grassroots Mobilisation' I noted that as sign of acceptability by them. That is where they want to meet me and that is the path I shall take, leaving no stone unturned to achieve the desired results. "
Finally, he promised to announce his aides soon after due consultation for effective and efficient discharge of his duty and he closed the press statement.
