Timileyin Ayayi, a 29-year-old native of Kogi and gospel singer, gave the press an account of the events that occurred between him and his girlfriend
In the police custody interview, Timileyin Ayayi maintained that he had no regrets about his actions, citing his belief in the compatibility of the two individuals. The discovery of her romantic phone exchange with another man led to his actions
In my apartment, while we were on the same bed together, I gained access to her phone and found proof of her cheating, which I confronted her about; despite initial denials, she apologized and vowed to desist after I showed her the incriminating phone messages
I instructed her to proceed to shower inside the bathroom, and to my astonishment, she continued her romantic conversation with another man over the phone, which we had just resolved, prompting me to become enraged and seek a knife to administer justice on her
I have no regrets about my actions, even as I approach my 30th birthday in October 2025.
